Default noob to the saxo world

Hi, just bought my first saxo today. My leon Cupra was costing me too much to run so is being sold. I'm now the proud owner of an 02 reg saxo VTR. I'll get some pictures up soon, the car needs a good wash at the minute though and the interior could do with a hoovering.

First issue i've found is that when turning the steering wheel, i hear a clunk. It seems to be coming from the steering arm or maybe the ball joint. Seems to be only when turning right and comes from the drivers side. The previous owner has changed the drive shaft (bad CV joint) and replaced the power steering pipes and pump. Anyone have any ideas, is it a common problem?

Cheers, i'll take the wheel off tomorrow and have a good look. It only seems to do this when standing still, when moving it seems ok.

Is this an easy/cheap bit to change?
