Default whos painted their tyre wall letters?

seen some saxo's with the yank style white letters but are wearing bridestaones etc. what do u use to get the effect please cheers.

at a guess....if the letters stick out..get a plank of wood, put a thin layer of white paint on it, then press it against the letters..

I have and I think it looks good buddy. Go on ebay and type in tyre pen and literally paint onto the tyre. Needs a few coats tho to be nice and white from the dirt off the tyre and clean the area first.

I liked it at first but like most things, people are sheep and followed the pattern. I think it looks proper gash now, People are branding out shit tyres.

Would you really walk down the street with a pair of netto jeans on with 'netto' writeen down the leg in tipex?

Just say no. its been down and looks tacky.

lol i just wondered how they managed to do it without the paint cracking due to expansion etc. a good novelty but as stated you need good rubber before doing it.

I have the new michelin plx2's or something at £80 a tyre. Got them last weekend. I think it can look good on certain cars and tyres but like said no shite rubber.

I dont mind the tyre paint thing but on other peoples cars that dont have four differrent remoulds fitted.

go for it,it takes quite a long time to do,i took the wheels off 1 at a time to do mine and it toook about 5 hours.
if you want tyre paint the look here,i bought the twin pack for £6

5 hours seems a long time m8 how many coats does it take and does this stuff dry pretty quick
