Nissens radiators.
Why is it that people get excited and want a premium for used ones?
Its just a pattern radiator. I've just delivered a full load to Nissens UK, who tell me they are just OE. Spec patterns.
Its like getting excited about firstline brake pads.
I just don't want people to think they're getting something superior to a standard genuine rad.

Yeah I'm not saying they're shit, just that its only standard spec. Some folks seem to think they're a performance mod and I needed to point it out. Been bugging me every time I go there.

They're a lot lighter than come standard on the older cars, but when people say the provide better cooling, what are they comparing it to? Probably a knackered radiator lol

I have often said the same. I have even seen a few turbo guys take out a good copper core stock rad and stick in a cheap nissens patter alloy core rad then wonder why there temps went up.
