Default List Your Saxo Problems !

just to see what the regular problems are we all know what they are but heard of some weird ones lately lol !
ill start had 2 saxo's one a posi furio now a red vts

furio
handbrake weld gone
gearbox more than wobbly practically neutral in gear
passenger and drivers seat bolts gone so squeaked and moved like mad

a lorry jump started me knowing his battery was twice almost 3 times the power of mine and fried my headlight wires , drove around with fogs for a few days got pulled and got a producer so whipped hids in and problem solved.
slipping clutch and probably more

Vts
no really problems yet but
1 driveshaft got another to do now
punctured wheel
and a flat battery but thats it this ones going really strong

list your probleymooos and lets have a look why these un reliable money pit french plastic tins are so addictive and we love them !

Tiny bit of rust.

All the rest aren't really problems just service parts on a 12 year old car.

coil pack. welding. wheel bearing (put two drop links on anyways)
glove box lid catch broke.
seat bolt mount split (now rewelded)
cv boot. thats about it. i did put a shaft in thinking it were that bit it were the bearing.
rear axel randomly decided to sieze on the drivers side after 6 months off road.
not bad for an 11 year old french car with nearly 140k on the clock.

mates cars with less miles have had more problems.

some are a good batch some arent its weird that no matter what goes wrong we still pump loads of skrilla in them ... i had one and gave up and then got a vts to see the "16v hype" its quick but comes at a price especially tax too thats a joke , to be fair tho why do you actually think we all keep them and mod them and daily drive or track it etc what is the big addiction to french hatchbacks ?

ICV, both driveshafts, both drop links, rear beam, leaky sunroof.. That's the stuff that broke, the rest never really worked in the first place!

My old vtr:

Soaking wet inside, dip in the dashboard on the passenger side was actually a lake of water.
Rear brakes stuck on
50 shades of silver
Central locking didn't work
Engine was on the way out
Rear beam was shagged
Power steering didn't work
Blowing exhaust
Sunroof leaking
Gearbox whined like a rape victim
Brakes were shocking
Overheated regularly, radiator exploded
Fuel pump failed
Seats were vile, could feel the springs
Suspension was knocking
Engine was tappy
Brake lights came on when they wanted to
Oil leak
Coolant leak
Door cards came off when I opened the door
Door handle cable snapped
Boot lock was broken
Immobiliser keypad didn't really work, had to force the buttons

Hence I don't really like saxos now.
