I'm making my own turbo mani looking to get near 400 hp what bore of pipe do people use and what grade of pipe I plan on using mild steel and getting it ceramic coated I will just bend pipes and tac with tig my uncle will do the rest as he owns a welding company

Use weld els. Nominal pipe size for 1.5" is 1.66"od and a 90 thou wall I believe. Come in two sizes, tight and loose radius, which you can find the size for. Use some straight pipe to cut any lengths you like.

Mild steel is more susceptible to heat so will expand and shrink more readily, it is also heavier. I used alibre to design mine though i'm yet to make it. Something for a rainy day!

looks good room isnt a poblem for me as its going in a 205 (jp4 engine) was wandering if a topmount mani would be worth trying

where would be the best place to get the pipe in the uk
