What's the easiest way to test the coil pack?

Edit: I'm getting a shot of a multimeter either tomorrow Monday as mine has went walk abouts so I'll test the coil pack and see if its buggered or not.

Without testing it: it's fucked

You can turn it over with the coil pack removed and all 4 sparks in sitting on top of the manifold cover if you really want

I went through fucking loads of coil packs on both my vtr and vts. I even missed a bloody show after one failed and then the TWO I managed to get at a scrappy had both failed!

Take the rubber prons off and clean the springs inside them, they corrode & makes them misfire.

I've seen these differences from looking on ebay.....

So if I stick with the same colour connector I'll be fine?

Is the other plug for the ones that aren't mounted on top like the 8v etc?

So from what you're saying the connectors are all the same for all vts and gti coil packs?
