Default Fitting seat rail's

Hi

I am fitting new seat rail's in my saxo tomorrow, My mum's boyfriend asked if they have to be bolted in or welded.. which got me thinking!!

Do they have to be bolted or welded in?

once u take the current seats out, stick just the rails in and see if they fit and the holes match to be bolted, if they do, bolt em up. if not, i'd guess theyd have to be welded.

jut my thoughts tbh but i done my ex's car and (un)fortunatly, they held and never loosened for the time she had the car
