Default bens wicked red saxo vtr progress blog.

Atfter converting both my previous 106s to saxo vtr engines i actually decided to get a vtr because its easier with insurance etcc....

heres my 2 previous cars witch were standard when i bought them...

Quicksilver...

Zest 2...

This is my saxo when i first got her...

wayy to high for a start haha!!

rear end lowered aprox 60mm

fronts on Gmax 60mm lowering springs and bilstein b8 front shocks

new wheelsss, speedline corse 15" x 6j ford fitment though so et 39 offset

got some 20mm hubcentric bolt on conversion spacers to convert from peugeot fitment to ford to sort the offset problems, got a saxport 2" outward rolled system and sportex 4-2-1 manifold

fitted a kent pt41 cam, lightly ported head, water pump, cambelt kit,oil change, oil filter, and alternator belt. cam is currently on standard timing and runs like a bag up to 3k revs! but pulls like hell haha! i have ordered a vernier pully and that should be here some time soon!

after a good clean,de wiper and de spoiler this is how it sits now...

Interior is stripped out aswell.. lots more updates to come!!

Spacer are already on the car in the photo?
My speedlines was 7jx15 et34 ford centre bore...but with 20mm spacers they was almost at the level of the arches...maybe it's the 6j that let them so inside

yeah, i've used them with 19/57-15 michelin slick tyres on circuit, with 20mm spacers but they rubbed internally on the chassis when cornering
