My Saxo VTS
This is my progress thread of my VTS, she started out like this:
What I have done on her so far:
- Wheels refurbished black,
- Colour coded grille surround and black meshed it,
- Removed the 16v badges,
- De-wipered
- T-cutted Citroen and Saxo badges,
- Sprayed air vents and and speaker covers Posi Blue,
- Painted front and rear calipers blue,
- New front and rear disks and pads,
- Rocker covers and upper strut brace sprayed Posi blue,
- 6x9's fitted in the rear parcel shelf (I need the boot space as a lil one is due soon),
- Lexarse lights swapped for smoked jewells,
- New cam and aux belt fitted,
- Steering wheel changed over,
There is more, just can't remember them at atm.
What still needs to be done:
- Lower her 50mm (the front is lowered, not sure my what amount though),
- Tidy up the paintwork and VT kit, and spray the bumpstrips gloss black,
- Find and fit some black carpet to replace the current grey one,
- Swap out the VTS seats with some GTI leathers,
- Swap the wannabe demma grille with a meshed gloss black badged one,
- Mesh out the front bumper
What she looks like now:
(deasent pic will be here once its been taken, too dark now)
Thoughts and sugestions all welcome.
BV

id get the alloys on vts repainted black and get torsion bar lowered if not seized if it is a gaRAGE with french car experience will take it off the car dimantle it lower it. and put it back together be about 8 hours labour. another option would be to buy one that already lowered but have to be careful down that route, as may not have been done properely

Quick update
Rear lights have now been swapped over, and the Sunstip signage has been removed, looking better already.
Have moved my headunit over and looking at getting a sub installed soon.
Have also ordered a OMP strut brace from KAM racing so will be fitting that when it comes, and if its dry.... also may be looking at replacing the manifold, the standard is on there at the moment, what do you guys recommend for a VTS? I dont want to have to move the oil filter or such to fit a better performance one in. New oil filter, fuel filter n sparks are on order as well so will be servicing her when its dry.
And the alloys I will be refurbing them and putting them back on when I have time.

Another small update..... no pics yet as i want 2 give her a good clean session this weekend, pics will follow then hopefully.
Grille surround has now been colour coded and grille sprayed black, looks smart . The OMP strut brace is now on as well and has been serviced, im gunna b sprayin my cam covers soon posi blue (and strut brace), going with black, silver n blue theme..... although blue will only be in the engine bay and calipers.
I've got an Apex Suspension kit on order as well as front has been lowered on standard dampers, the kit is 50mm.
Wheels..... as soon as I can get the locking nuts off then i'll be refurbin them black, the locking key has been rounded on the wheel brace side, got another set comming that i believe is the same set *fingers crossed*, if not then garage time.

Wheel refurb ;D
Have finally refurbed my wheels , still need to fit them back on but am leaving the lacquer as long as I can, and plus waiting some some new locking nuts.
They were mucky as hell, so seaming that they were gunna be rubbed down anyway I used some turps to clean them..... cut through the grime no problem .
I'll let the pic do the rest of the talking.
Was hard work, but definatly worth the time but in.
Comments please
