fitting sub nd amp

hi, ive just bought a sub nd amp nd was just wandering the best way to wire them up. i think one wire needs to connect to the battery. wat would be the best way to get the wire to the battery. help wud be much appreciated. thanx

power from battery positive to amp, remote lead from HU to amp, earth from amp to earthing point under the rear bench.

then speaker cable from sub to amp

to run the pos wire to bat, you need to feed the wire thro the gromit behind glove box, if you lei down in pas foot well, look up behind dash, with a torch you will see part of the cars wiring harnness going thro the gromit, you need to make a hole just below the harnness, feed the power cable thro there, it will come out to the left of the brake servo, it's a bit tight as it's behind the steering rack, once you feed it thro, you have to run it behind the servo to the battery, and must be fused

run it to the boot down passenger side, rca's normaly run up centre of car, easier if you take seats out, remote run that from head unit and along side power cable, earth connect to one of the seat belt anchor points under rear seat, secure all wires, make sure sub and amp are secured
