Default washing/drying

should i just wash 1 panel at a time, then dry it with a shammy.. then wash next panel, etc etc

or is there a better way?

nah just hose the car down to remove the big chunks of dirt and to loosen soil, then wash from the top down to the bottom. only thing i recommend is not to let the suds dry so make sure you can rinse while youre washing.

i wouldnt have said do it like that or else when you wash another pannel you may get an already washed panel wet and dirty again??

working from top down. that way you dont spread the dirt onto otherwise clean panels.

Totally depends on weather. If it's cool and cloudy I wash the whole thing in one go, starting from the top (so rinse off first, then wash from top down, then rinse off, then dry). However, if it's very hot or very sunny, I rinse the whole car down, then wash a panel at a time and rinse the panel immediately and then move on. Once I've done all the panels I then re-rinse the whole car and finally dry off. Reason for doing this is to prevent the suds drying onto the paint.
