Black VTS + New track day car.
Hi, thought i'd start a thread. Been on here a little while now, and now on my second saxo, hopefully with the edition of a third soon.
First I had a VTR, in white, with about 85k on the clock.
Still got this as my dad uses it as a run around.
||
Next I moved onto a Black VTS, my current car.
I bought it standard, FSH and around 73k on the clock, for just over £1000.
Haven't got any pics, but I think we all know what a standard vts looks like..
This is how it stands now.
Lowered about 50mm, m3 style rear lights, and a decat, supersprint un-silenced system.

Next I got these of Jpsaxo, nice guy.
Unfortunately they were caught slightly when having the tyres removed. The damage is pretty minimal and won't be repaired for now anyway..

They'll be going on the car shortly, along with pressed plates in a few weeks.
The plan is to get another vts, a low budget track day car. Lowered, buckets and a cage to begin with and then go from there.

Looks pretty nice.
If it was mine it would be getting cleaned when needed and that is all.

Thanks, yeah I'm not normally one for cleaning often as where I live it normally gets covered in crap within a day or two, but a good clean does make it look a lot better.
Just wondering, there are like scratches on the bonnet from where it looks like someone has tried to clean it before, is there any way to get rid of them? I tried a polish but no luck.

Pressed plates came as well, think they look good. Never been pulled over after 2 years of driving now so I'm sure I'll be fine :

Paint the rear badges white, matches your front chevrons then.

Hmm I think they would ! I like these 'm3 style' ones, might retint them sometime as its going a bit orange at the edge.
Also has anyone had their car machine polished ? Does it actually remove the swirl/scratch marks because it seems someone used to wash the car with grit and rocks looking at the state of the paint work. Its about £70 so if I was going to go for it I would want to make sure it actually gave a good result.

Machine polishing makes a decent difference but I'd rather buy my own because then you can take it with you to different cars and do it when you want, and you could probably pick one up for £70
