When you say it has no door lock do you mean it literally is missing the lock on the side of the door? If so then you will need to get another lock either from a scrappy off another saxo or go to Citroen dealer and buy new, then you will have to get the lock pins cut to suit your key so that you can turn the key in the lock, then once you have that done you need to fit the lock into the door, to do this take the internal door card off, then literally just push the lock into the hole that's already in the bodywork and link it up to lever going to remote central locking unit just below it..... Sorted

Thats alright mate, i just reallised what i just said probably sounds really complicated to you, being new to it all, but you'll find it easy once you pull the door card off and see how everything links up, if you get stuck give us a pm or post on here mate

You've got both the lock barrel and the lock mechanism. I can't see anything missing

Are you saying that the key doesn't lock the door when you turn it? Maybe the link between the barrel and the lock mechanism is missing- it's a short bent rod.

THIS!!!!!!
If you look closely, the little metal bar that links the door lock barrel to the door lock mechanism isn't there!
Does your central locking work?

It's a simples job, get the bar from a scrappy or a breaker hopefully for free, pull that bit of metal (on the left of pic) towards you (it'll hurt your elbows ) that releases barrel, connect bar inside door first to the gold loop on mechanism (towards top of pic, you may have to take off 3 torx screws on side of door to help with access) then connect to barrel, then put it all together!
Good luck, have fun
