Default VTS injectors

Hi

I'm rebuilding a vts and putting it back to standard from it having carbs on.

I'm going to a salvage yard this weekend and need injectors.

Hoping to save a few quid and wondered if there was anything I could take the injectors from other than a vts/gti that are a straight swaps or compatible???

Thanks

Your best off getting your current injectors professionally tested and cleaned, but yes gti injectors will work and possibly c2 injectors.

C2 injectors won't work, they are medium length EV6 Bosch ones and what you want are Magneti Marelli IWP 066 which have a shorter body and are different construction.

Craig Lomax had a set if he hasn't chucked them out.

If you bugger about with c2 fuel rail you can fit the shorter saxo vts injectors -
drill out where the self tapping fixnigs go in the plastic fuel rail -move it to under manifold and use spacers and 6mm nuts +bolts
will all be clear when you start to do it
