Awesome - Knew I recognised the restaurant it's pictured outside of here in Liverpool. Epic price tag!

Could have a car built to the exact same spec for a fraction of that price.

Or you could get an RS6, an aston Martin and a Bentley for the same price. They're selling a fast shoe box with a name on it.

In 8-10 years the Audi, Aston and Bentley would’ve quartered in price though, whereas this would probably be worth even more than it is today.

And in 8-10 it will look more like an even older shoe box with wheels. With a price tag on it; it belongs in a museum. Would you pay extra for Beckam's written off RS6, or KAtie Price's pink Range Rover?

Not personally no, but I bet there are plenty of people out there who would.

Actually, I have in the past. I paid extra for the Saxo VTS used in Gavin and Stacey, because it was used in the TV show.

Ooookay. Was it worth it? Just asking as I would not notice the difference between that and another VTS. I haven't watched TV for the past 15 years or so apart from the odd bit of news and the old top gear...

so everything with some history or otherwise public interest should only belong to museums? Tell that to collectors of fine art. If someone is willing to pay that kind for it then let them carry on, no one would bat an eye lid if it was on some classic car auctions site rather than ebay

Cars/Motorbikes should not live in museums if they are static displays, they should be run/used/ridden/driven otherwise they are no longer a car/bike.
