Dont go with budget
Well after 4 days of ringing back and forth on the phone to budget trying to find out if theyd cover my planed mods of 40mm drop all round, tinted windows, and new exhaust system, theyve finaly got back to me, No my curent policy wont accept it, so they sent it to there underwriter insurers again, as a new policy to get a quote, and none of them would accept the modifications.
So basically ive been left with the following options,
1) Cancel the insurance (theyve told me if i do this i will only get £600 back!!! AFTER THE POLICY COST ME £1600!!!!! AND IVE ONLY HAD THE POLICY FOR 4MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! £1000 for 4 months insurance yeah well fair!!!!!!) and then start a new policy with someone that willl accept it.
or
2) Do the mods anyway and dont tell them hope i dont wrap it up and pleed ignorence and say i didnt realise that it was modified when i bought it lol.
not up for option 2 at all but where the fuck will i get insured for 600quid! on a vtr with 1 year driving experience no no claims bonus,
HELP ME

I wouldn't risk it personally mate, saying that the car was like that when you bought it and never knew wont pay off as the mods are quite obvious IMO. Quinn-Direct are good my VTS is modded to the bollocks and as long as i tell them they really don't give a toss as long as it's still declared as road worthy by an approved garage (Dealer).
Bottom line if you're young and male like me at 19 you pay a fortune in insurance to have a half decent car!
