Default Engine building piston movement

One for the engine builders amongst the forum.
On this cylinder, there is not great side to side movement of the piston. North to south, seems fine. The picture below is spun the wrong way, so the bottom and top are actually side to side in this case.
The piston. Seems to prefer one side, slightly thus not as much movement as others, but not too horrific.

I suspect the rod bush isn't level, as I had them machined. Question is, is this safe to run? The tolerance seems marginal, but having no experience at this section has made me anxious that not all are uniform.

or rod bent--why did you have little end of rods machined ? maybe too loose a fit to piston pin

They were the smaller little ends, for kit car fit or something. There were a couple of types for sale at the time.

Proper Kit car rods are light weight to cope with high revs (hence the small pins).
For a turbo motor you need wide beams to cope with high cylinder pressures that otherwise cause bending, so I'm not sure they are a good choice anyway.
