Default vts on the way!

just thought id share i drove over 40 miles today to see a black VTS which i have now seriously fell in love with. even though the insurance is £1400 TPFT it doesnt bother me. just sitting in it today made me want it! test driving it on saturday then if its up to scratch from the test drive i will be buying it.

bit excited like but it all depends on if i sell my car. got someone coming in an hour to see it then someone else tomorrow. they both seem really interested as they want to buy it for there son's 18th birthday so im quite sure it will sell.

that is all

I wouldn't take out TPFT though mate tbh.

I was going to do that on my VTR, but my Dad wouldn't let me because if you have a crash thats your fault - no pay out. Basically lost £3k and then you need to start again.

Up to you mate obviously, but that's my 2p's worth.

Sounds good matey.

Fully comp would be the better option but I had tpft on a few of my previous cars and was fine.

Hope you get the car matey, but I would definitely insure it fully comp! My insurance is with a company called Brentacre 01792 650993. They are a broker that deal with modified cars and young drivers. Well worth a call! I've got 6 points, 27 yrs old and paying less than £400 fully comp with all mods declared on my vts

Sorry to hi-jack mate, do they have a website?

That is really good for your age, points and mods.

EDIT - Found it, I think.

dont worry about the third party thing mate, my first 4 years worth of insurance were third party. i never had any problems.

as long as your not stupid and dont crash then you will be fine! the only reason im fully comp now is that im able to protect my no claims.
