Ive got a mk 1 VTR and its been lowered 60mm all round and bout a few months after i had it done the rear has started to squeek when i go any where and its got progressivly worse and really pisses me off!!! any ideas as to what it could be???
any help would be great!!!!

i have that problem as well but it happened before i got it lowered but it comes and go's but when i did put my car in to get lowered the guy said the torsion bar was on the way out. it may not be the same thing but you could always find out

yeah will get it looked at soon!!! ive had a mate look at it whos a mechanic and he couldnt find the problem but he thought it may have been the bearings or some dirt stuck in the torsion bar!!!

take off the rear wheels take out the 13mm bolts on the anti roll bar plate give them and there hole a good wet down with wd 40 and tighten them back up well and thats should be you

Thats great mate i may finally have a squeek free car!!!! though ive had it looked at and when we had the car jacked up we moved the passenger side rear wheel up and down and that was squeeking!!!! could that still be the same problem???

thats exaclty the side mine was squeeking at and after doing as i said it stopped and never returned, it looked like the 13mm bolt had worked loose just enough to allow the anti roll bar plate to move up and down causing the noise
