16v conversion sensors...

Right the time as come, soonish, to change my loverly 8v lump with a nice 16v one. The question is, am i right in thinking the 106gtis have a sensor after the cat (or somewhere near) to check the exhuast gases further down the pipe? If so, what am i going to do with this sensor? Just leave it dangling?

Also I want to fit my 4-2-1 manifold from my mk1 vtr engine, am i right in thinking that all i need is an oil filter re location kit to make it work? Thanks alot,

The manifold will not fit im afraid.

The stud bolt pattern on the cylinder head is completely different.

shiiiite, so ill need a gti manifold.... can i keep my cat u der the car though?

just discsonnect the 2nd lambda. there is a plug just after it leaves the loom where you can unplug it from.
