Ok, I fort I had posted in your other thread but it was one similar.

Ive had loads of trouble with my cooling system but (touch wood) its fine now.

Are you losing coolant? I had a problem where the rad cap wasn't holdin the pressure of the coolin system and was dumpin water all over the show everytime you turned the engine off.

To be safe, change the thermo asap, as alot of people reply'd to my questions about other peoples cars runnin over half and acceptin this as normal, its not IMO! Change the thermo, its cheap and could be a source of the boilin water, get a new rad cap as well while your there and replace all your coolant wen changin the thermo.

If you still have aproblem with boilin noise get a garage to check the cooling system, pressure test it and do a dye test this will show if there is any CO2 in the system (exhaust Gas ie Head gasket) then just take it from there.

Check as much as you can before takin it to a garage this way you may saze yourself a wod of cash for a job you could have done yourself, been there done that :-)
