right there with you budy, my vtr powered ax has, to date, only had one race on the road sice i finished the engine install, that was with a honda s2000, i thrashed him, well, he almost kept up, but hey, a win's a win, in a streight line too. oh and did i mention that the ecu i'm running had not maps in it so it's all been guess work, not even set it up on the rollers properly yet........
bring on the power!!!!

thats great to hear, conversions are the don there is no othere way of gettin so much power for your dollar.ive had a few i only have a 1360cc saxo but with head back exhaust includin 4-1 manifold straight thru and a duction kit it goes well, the best i had was racing a scooby from junction1 m27 down the a36 i think to bournmouth,i no he could have kicked my ass and he did but i cught back up with him and he was playin ball we had a right old ding-dong weaving through the duffers all the way to bourmouth as he pulled of he gave it a little flash and waved,he knew the score it was well good fun,and i was 3-up
its soon gettin a 16v in it then im savin super super hard to get a turbo kit for it.lets get a bloody shift on thats what i say.even more upsettin is the people wjo get a new car and a loan take it to the bodyshop and get it maxed just to get it in the mag,its pathetic, there not enthusiasts there little wankers, never even held a fukin spanner.they should suss up on it and not alow them to mags anymore its ruining the scene.laters

video you say? give it another two weeks to get it back from the bodyshop and we'll see what we can do.
I must admit i could hardly beleve it myself, but the comment from my passanger was "look at his blody face, he's well pissed off".
But hey, what happened happened, not from a standing start don't forget.
I've not timed it yet, but i have a 100m run right outside work and with a 10mph rolling start can hit 90 in 3rd buy the end of it with ease.
will keep you posted as to the video.

oh, and by the way, it's not just a vtr motor, there's the race ecu that at the time was running twice the fuel timing the standard ecu pumps through, bored out throttle body, induction kit, one off exhaust, msd dis-2 multi spark cdi, and fuel pump from a 330 bmw + 3.5bar regulator.
not to mention the coil overs, vtr rear axle(19mm bars), and 4pot hi-spec calipers, mated to a set of 15" rims for best handling/acceleration.
oh and being 26 i'm not a kid telling tall tails.

don55 i am sorry but ure a fuking wanker!! u really are... ok u have ure opinion on 'more show than go' which is a valid opinion and fair enough, but people spend a lot of time and work making there cars look good and unique, and most people cant afford to insure a car with out right power, so why have a go at these people and call them pathetic? i am only 18 but if i had an opinion to put forward i wouldnt start calling people pathetic and say
"if you dont want to go fast ur either a complete fuking pup"
if u really are 26 i pitty u

Don mate your being a bit stupid here, saying someone doesnt want to go fast makes them a pup and a loser is just utter bull shit.
Having a driving licence is not about going fast at all and thats a really stupid attitude to have im afraid.

If you wanna go fast do it on the track, If you wanna race scoobies and evos and s2000' there are plenty of them on the tracks for you to play with but with everyones opinion, they will be different and there is no way you should be saying to someone they are a looser for not racing and wanting to go fast, its the exact opposite, its them who are smart not to do that.
Imagine you are crossing the road and some kids are racing and run you over, there is no way you will ever see daylight again!
Racing off the lights or racing another car we have all done it but please don't say to someone they are a looser for doing the right thing or for taking care of what is their pride and joy...

I agree. Modifying is as much about creating a good looking individual car as it is about creating a fast one. I'm not against street racing but it is by no means a prerequisite of modifying!
