my saxo is 1.1i and unfortuneately i do not have a rev counter in my new ride

would i be able to fit a vts / vtr dials so i could have a rev counter and eventually night glow dials ect ?

as im looking at my local scrappy to pick up a few bits such has vts / vtr arches, central locking, electric windows ect

i think you can fit an extra rev counter but not 100% sure, fitting the dials from a vt* would be more difficult as they require the correct plugs to go to the back of them and the plugs at the back of your 1.1 may be different and even if they were the same the rev counter would not work as the wiring wouldnt be there.

would i then be able to take from model one up of mine for example my saxo is 1999 1.1i, would i be able to get one from a later 1.1i ?

you could as long as the mk2 1.1's are not the new style with the light up needles as these have different plugs again

I suppose if you found out for sure you can fit a rev counter then you could fit vt* dials and then take your time and wire it up individually. Though could prove time consuming

You should be able to re-wire a set of VTS clock into the 1.1... it would just take a spot of looking at the wiring diagram. It's been done plenty of times before though.

I guess it depends how confisdent you are, or if you know anybody whos good with electronics.

Alternatively, why not just ditch the clock and fit the rev counter.... and leave the rest of the clocks the same. This would involve the least amount of re-wiring, as a rev counter only requires a pulsed signal to function.

With all the help i have recived so far . . . my car should come along nicely

Im changeing my contract hours to get abit more money
so i just have to be patient and save those pennie's .
