Doh Gary, I told you to look after that! Happens to us all though, I've done it to loads of bolts on my good ladys Festa

I think you'll be ok though. Not sure how they go in, but an engineering firm would be able to find a sollution easy enough. Doubt you'll need a new head, though I know of a hole engine which I could get you very cheap if need be.

When its fixed, buy a haynes and a torque wrench

i did exactly that. but dont worry, all u need to do is remove the cover, get some pliers or molegrips and grip the tread and twist. it should wind out of the head. then go to citreon give them £5 and they'll give u a new one

piece of piss. undo the 2 bolts, lift cover off, remove gasket, fit new one, put cover on, do up the 2 bolts

you do no rocker cover bolts only need to be torqued up like 20nm max my mates car was only 10nm

should always torque everything up to its right torqueness or stuff like that will happen. never over do it

how tight did you do it then?
