Default Paint peeling from my rocker cover

the silver paint from the v.t.r rocker cover has started to peel and chip next to the oil cap on my engine its a bit of an eye sore when you open the bonet and see nice clean pipes and filter any advise or past experience would be welcome

Mine had rust on the front of the rocket cover ... i bought rust remover (Hammerite) and just brushed it on over a period of a few hrs and its almost away.

Also had a bit like what your talking about, sanded it with wet and dry added tht rust stuff to it then primered it and its like new. hope tht helps

If its not too bad just sand it right down and re-spray it.

£50!!! i have just sprayed mine silver, it needs doing again but i have a chrome on to put on for the summer
