Hi,

Power steering problems seem to be common, but what is the correct way to fault find to narrow down the problem? I have no power steering at all and I've checked all the fuses, which seem OK, the fluid level is OK and not losing any fluid. I don't really want to buy the power steering unit if it is something electrical.

Thanks for any advice.

Jim

Guys - Sorry I havent replied to date (due to work!!!). Thanks for replying. I will check all the connections this weekend and also the relay. Funny thing is, after not working for 2 weeks, it started working yesterday after I had been driving for about 10 minutes. I could actually hear what I assumed to be the pump start whirring away and then the steering became light as it should be. Anyway, again thanks for the response and will let you know.
