EDIT - Engine conversion
Can it be done, and if yes how much roughly am i looking at?
all coments and advice will be welcome as i dont have a clue where to start or how to go about it.

yes it can be done and it depends on the parts really.
Spraying/fitting around £200-300
then you need to add parts on top of that which vary in price massively. Take a look on ebay and see what you can find.

lol... big difference there. Usually around £1,000 including parts but again depends on the price that you can get parts for.

so if i managed to get the engine, wot other parts would i need beside from that lump.
and how much do you think roughly a mechanic would charge.
also at the end of the day is it worth it?

It is worth it over a 1.1, and its cheaper doing a conversion like this than moding a 1.1 to get very little power inscrease.

it may be worth just buying a vts
selling a car with an engine conversion has less chance of a standard car
you will need the
engine
loom
vts engine mount gerbox side
think thats about it have a search its been covered 100s of times
id say about 1000 for fitting and the engine
