anyone keeping there cars standard?
im thinking of putting my car back to standard as im fed up with the boy racer image i keep getting, plus im not really into all this crap u can throw at cars now.
i think im going to put it all back to standard and then get it lowered a small amount just to improve the handleing.
does anyone see what im getting at here? also who else is keeping there car standard?

Well the styling that most people like to think suits the saxo at the moment is the standard look with some suttle changes is the way to go.
So what have you on the car that make your car 'BoyRacer'ish?
You know your get chav's wanting to race you even in a standard lookin VT kitted Sax dont ya!?

different opinions are going to clash here
i see standard and subtle modding as good, i see big wheels and body kits as something that should of been left in the 90's...
most people now tend to go for the subtle approach, its not really expensive, it makes the cars nicer on most occasions. They can stand out without standing out too much which is what i personally want

I like subtle modding. Just a few bits to make it look different but subtle enough that some people don't know what's changed sometimes
I've had my car called OE+ quite alot

i dont mind everyone has their own opinions thats great..
But i think that a lot of people seem to think that modifying has just gone all subtle now, but if you go on to other forums i.e x2cuk you will see a lot of people are still very much into the whole styling thing but its just going another way now like with the euro style, smoother look but still big wheels and now with air suspension etc.
I like all the subtle modding and there are some great looking cars on this site i.e clouds but as i have said number of times people just lack a bit of imagination and just copy other people.
I think willsy is a legend as he doing something different all time and trying new things etc

theres only so many things you can really do going subtle, i wanted a green ot 2 tone s as its a different colour not many about, then cut slats out to try and make it different to others in a way, some may copy, but then you cant really call it copying if they like that style
