Default Best car to have

Well i can afford saxo vts mk2 etc.... But my insurance goes through my uncles buisness (i dont pay anything at the moment)

Now i checked to see what it would be on a mk2 1.6 vts.... and it was like £4000... Surely thats not right?

If it is then, what i want to know is what would be the cheapest car for me to insure so i can get my NCB up..

Thanks

£4000 sounds bang on if you are only 18 with zero no claims lol. Nah just jokin, you should be able to get it cheaper than that elsewhere but it wont be a lot less to be honest. VTS is group 14, which is very high being only 18. My parents beemer is group 14-15 and i would expect quotes of about £4000 if i wanted to insure that.

Being 18 you might be able to get insruance for a VTR as it is only group 7. You will probably be looking at £1500 upwards though even for TPFT. Furio would be the best option in my opinion. The way i look at it, why pay £3000 for a saxo and then pay £3000 to insure it, waste of money. I pay £900 fully comp on my furio
