Default Help on panel filter please...

Hi there guys,
I've just gone and got myself a 51 VTR and I'm looking to buy a panel filter for it as I'm pretty much broke as a joke after buying the car I'm looking for a k&n panel filter as was wondering if someone could post a link to what one i will exactly need as I've been looking around and have seen that some have different sensors and what not. As you can probably tell im not very technically minded and also ive done a search and couldnt seem to find it a topic which shows how to install a panel filter sorry if i missed it being blind..
Thanks in advance
Wez

mate just any panel filter for a vtr should fit. Won't make that much off a difference might make it feel a bit nippier and less choked up. My advice is to just wait tip u can afford the BMC.

yeah i agree with SaXo_vtr123, i have a green filter on my vtr and i dont really make that much difference, revs a wee bit freer but thats it. im going to make a better cold air feed for it tho.

On the Rallye Register someone did back to back testing between an ITG panel filter and a K&N panel filter and the K&N actualy produced 2Bhp more than the ITG!

Many Saxo and 106 owners say the original setup give smoother power delivery.
The BMC is popular but the K&N is a lot less expensive and makes use of Citroen's engineering.
There are two types on for a VTR, most use 33-2772 but yours will use 33-2227 as its a 51.

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=33-2227

They are 30 quid on ebay.

Just got one myself that's how I know all the above!
