need better braking!
hi all,im thinking about upgrading my brakes but unsure which ones to go for and whats needed! To use the gti 180 brakes or the gti-6 do i need the carriers and the callipers (and obviously discs+pads). Iv read about grinding that needs to be done to the gti brakes but that isnt an issue!
which ones are better? will they fir under 15" wheels? rep given for usefull info

Williamsvts does 266mm discs, pads and calipers. i have ordered some and have heard nothing but good things about them. PM him..
They will fit under 14's so they will fit under 15's obviously too.
They come ready to fit from him too.

its impossible to use the calipers without the correct carries.
please read my sticky as a lot of you seem to be thinking a carrier is something that it snt, it is part of the caliper, the part teh pad goes in. read that and you will save a lot of confusion.
james - you get new carriers as they are part of the caliper.
EVERYONE PLEASE READ THE STICKY ON THIS SUBJECT AS A LOT OF MISLEADING INFORMATION IS BEAING POSTED.

yeah, if your going to the breakers just chop the brake hose and undo the 2 bots holding it to the hub., then you will have everything you need as you can use the saxo hoses.
