Has anyone had the latest Broadband upgrade???

Got a letter a while ago saying they were upgrading systems, free of charge.

So yesterday they came and installed my new style set toip box.. a Silver Samsung thing.

They reckoned that the speed would be upgraded from 1Mbit to 1.5Mbit, free of charge.

Still appears to be 1Mbit though...

lol, the nice people at telewest upgraded the 512 service to 750kbs free of charge, nice chaps didnt even tell us just i thought the net seemed faster so looked it up on the server and saw it had been upgraded

lol, telewest took ages to do mine, they annocenced it, n it took them bout an extra month, but dont matter as im moving ISP. I can now get 8mb connection cheaper than what I am paying telewest for a 756kb/s!

8megabite connection ? fook me that must be fast
i heard they were testing a 10 megabite connection via a satelite dish , but it has problem's in storm's ect so it's a no go
