Angry as fook!
Been offered a new job elswhere away from my firm currently with 60% more money, better benefits career and educational wise, so happy ive finally found a job i deserve.
Anyway handed my notice in today at my current employer, the Managing director was sound as anything with me, wished me well and said if it doesnt work out dont hesistate to give him a call. Agreed a finishing date, holiday entitlement will be taken as extra pay at the end of my contract. Nice one.
Told my immediate boss the estimating manager, again he was gutted i am leaving but said he wished me well and even shook my hand.
Anyway, that was this morning, 10 minutes ago the f*ckin chairman who resembles mr burns, came sauntering into our office and said in a sarcastic tone "Oh so your leaving us are you? Shame somebody else is getting all our hard work training you but i guess thats life and we're not getting any end reward"
(Ruddy tunrs into the green snarling angry incredible Rud)
I said "To be honest Wilf (his gay name) ive actually won a quarter of a million pounds worth of work today, and also a whisker away from securing another £500k, think that comments a little unfair to be honest mate".

I know im leaving myself open to endless critisism here but that comment by the Mr Burns basically said i have no loyalty and have used and abused the company.
Shame they fail to regognise all the times i have stopped back and worked extra hours for free.

All I can say is, is congrats man. More people should get the jobs they should deserve.
If you put time and effort in like you said, you should get the job that suits you. And that's what you're doing.
Also, 60% increase is pretty nifty. What abouts are you going to be earning, if you don't mind me asking?
