Quinn Direct
Morning everyone.just wondered if anyone has/had took out the 10 month bonus accelerator with quinn for insurance giving them the 1year NCB after 10months and if i were to move companies would it count as a 1year as i know some companys dont allow these things. Cheers

i believe you have to go with the same company for the following year on the 10 month bonus scheme. I don't think they are worth it really. I have been with quinn for 2 years and they have mucked up twice and their attitude was 'your problem' .... Ive gone with Admiral this time much cheaper and £750 stereo cover included.
My advice would be go for the normal 12 months its only 2 months more, and it only saves you about £80 doing the bonus acellerator, and it ties you to sticking with them.

I was on a 10 month policy with Elephant last year and I'll never do it again.
I found it hard getting quotes with various companies as they wouldn't accept the 1yrs NCB from the policy, so I ended up going with Bell Insurance and I have taken out a 12month one.
Like Daryl said, it doesn't save you much money at all so it's best to do the extra 2 months.

People may say Quinn Direct are cheap, but not in my case plus my mate wrote off his Saxo last year and got £1,100 back on a 51 reg Furio.

Quinn seem to be the cheapest but ive not heard of anybody who has claimed having an easy time with it. Cheap prices but a nightmare if you need to claim.
10 month bonus thing is no worth the paper it is printed on. Mate did it for his first year, renewall dropped £1.45 for a years no claims. Phoned other companies and found like two that would accept it and the quotes were very high.

You dont have to stay with the same company for the next years insurance. I was with Bell for my first year on a 10 month bonus accelerator. Im now with Quinn Direct and they acccepted it. It just depends on the insurance company

They arn't the cheapest. I have been with them 2 years and found admiral to be £250 cheaper and a much better deal on the policy benefits so swapped over to them when i bought my 2 tone saxo.

I think when you join you have an agreed price on what your car is worth so if you fuck your car up then you have a set price.
