SUSPENSION -60mm
I have found a spax vsx -60mm lowering kit, what other modifications need to be done to accomodate this? I read the guide and it says the camber will be out and i believe it is not adjustable??. also the other alternative for me is to get the -40mm kit
This is with shocks and springs and rear dampers, I would ideally like it -60mm because i think it looks quite impressive but if it s going to mean alot of extra parts then i will have to compromise. hard ride is not an issue.
I also believe some cable re routing is required, im sure this has been recovered multiple time but if anyone has any links would be much appreciated or if somone who ahs lowered -60mm could comment, cheers.

Hey Olly!
60mm. Looks the nuts! As your Saxo is a Mk2 you might have to relocate the power steering pipe as it will rub on the steering rack. However my mates MK1 Saxo did this and his pipe burst.
The ride is very hard but if your going to lower 60mm then definately get the full kit (shocks and springs)
Dont forget you will need your torsion bar adjusting to suit the front.
Theres no extra parts, just labour. Torsion bar and PAS pipe.
Camber is not adjustable and it maybe out when lowered this much. Mines lowered 40mm BTW.
Colin.

well colin has covered everything really, personally id go for a 50 drop. but yes basically hard ride, but its well worth in imo, just make sure you relocate the pas pipe, and then your sorted, no extra parts. and another thing, slow down for speed humps, lol.

your saxo looks so tight! well today i just fitted my black diamond disks and mintex extreme pads got suspension coming next week and found out the problems with the vibration i think, as it appears to be caused by the badly worn top bush on the suspension which is vibrating from the front of the car the whole way through,
need to get the alignment sorted and find out why its pulling to the right but i went to the rolling road place and they want 120 just to check it so im gonna try and put a deal in lol.

Mines down 60mm and wont go over speed bumps in the middle of the road, have to have one wheel over them....
Does my nut in!!!! but looks the dogs so im not changing. Also if you have it on hard and hit a bump on a tight corner whilst hammering it.. expect to slide or spin!

It is funny. I was reversing onto my drive this morning, and my mum was stood at the bottom, she had never seen it do it before, and she screamed and paniced, scared me half to death, thought something was wrong lol, then realised was just my wheel lol
