You can get 2 JBL GT4 12" subs for £56.99, that incl. P+P and they're brand new. These subs are widely regarded as one of, if not the best sub for under £80 and at £29 each, that's a fair amount under that budget. Given a decent amount of power and these will out do the Sony equivelant in every way.

JBL GT4 12" Deal

Running 2 of the above off of this amp, the JBL GTO 75.4 would provide plenty of bass and I can guarantee you wouldn't be dissappointed with the performance of such a cheap sub. You may even be able to pick up the above amp for less if you look 2nd hand. I'd predict this ebay auction selling for around £45-55, JBL GTO75.4. That would be 2 decent subs and a decent amp for around £100.

If you're not looking for 2 subs, you could sell 1 and get a set of components and run them off the other 2 channels on the amp. Even better, a full system for £140-150.
