Saxo MK2 Manifold with sportscat & VTR Cams
Right i swear ive seen this somewhere on this forum about the MK2 Manifold with sports cat you can buy from Cituning...... http://www.cituning.ltd.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=19
I wanna no do you think it would be worth that amount of money and how much of a difference will it make to my VTR?
Also these Fast Rolling Road Cams if i buy them......is it a direct fit e.g if i buy them and then take the cams to garage and get them fitted.....plus wats the performance difference?
This is the Cams http://www.cituning.ltd.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=600

£425!!!!!!!!!!! you would be better off getting a stainless steel manifold from GMC for half the price and you should see a better gain.
the cams would fit (i think) but you would benefit more with some CatCams or Kent Cams and a remap with the cams and mods you have done

yes mate i have that manifold an it is imo one of the best manifolds you can put on a mk2 vtr with the cat in the manifold. i had my car rolling roaded with that a bmc and a full magnex and made 107 and 119lb and the operators comment on this website was:
"yea yours ran very well last week i was a bit dubious about the manifold at first as id never seen one like that in the few years i have worked and owned saxos and 106's but it did the job very well! and it was one of the healthiest saxos id driven!"
from this thread http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...t=88391&page=3
Well worth anybodies £425, plus no messing around at mot time, these manifolds are a work of art too

its expensive because its a sports manifold and also sport cat all in one......if u added the prices of a sports manifold and sport cat for a mk1 saxo it wud cam to roughly the same price
Only difference is that with this manifold its all built into one.....which i think is alot better and save time effort and that extra money if u wanted a 4-2-1 manifold cos u wud have to relocate oil filter and have to keep puting standard manifold back on come MOT time (later mk2's only) cos really it aint that bad when you think about it
Yeh TBH my car sounds nice as it is really......but i want more torque and more power........it gives the odd backfire now and then mostly when i coast and then left clutch up again it gives that little pop!

Have a look for youself on www.cituning.ltd.uk
If I had a Phase2 R I think I lean towards one of these to totally cut out all the mucking about with changing your manifold every year back to standard then back to the 4branch.
It is alot of money mind you and ontop of a exhaust system you could be looking at a £600+ exhaust system, but the choice is yours

Also consider that because the cat is still on the manifold, if and when it fails you will have to buy another sports manifold and cat. The GMC manifold doesn't require oil filter relocation

I'd ditch the cat in the manifold for something like a supersprint 4-2-1 (which doesn't require relocation of oil filter) and then fit the exhaust from an earlier model saxo so that is in the exhaust.
Much easier to change the exhaust that a manifold come MOT time PLUS no cat flows better than a sports cat.

Dont think so with the Raceland mate, you need to relocate the oil filter with this one.
GMC offer manifold for around the same price
Id fit a GMC and have the CAT under the car, piss to re-fit come MOT time and performance will be slightly better methinks Sensors could be easily relocated within the new setup mate

the supersprint doesn't required any relocation.
the raceland the only bits you'=l have to get to make it fit is a mk1 oil filter and thread. not so expensive at well under 20quid which despite the extra effort means they are still a bargin
