would be a lot easier to trim with it all took apart mate, looks as though you have sealed everything, just take the box's apart and seal the box's up on the inside
looks easy to me though mate, the leather i used was a bit stretchy too, all your surfaces are flat so will be perfect to trim
look for some faux leather on ebay, looks ok to me too mate you have done good there, as long as you refrain from putting 6x9s in you will be fine

yes mate its a lot easier to trim that way, it wouldnt take that long tbh, unscrew then use a scraper to get the sealent off
id also get a router on the edges too mate

there are to many angles to cover it and not get creases in it. if you have the money get a leather trimer to do it and he will stitch it on the angles, i think that would look great.

Worth a try mate i have seen that done quite alot, you could also use a build up of fibre glass filler to round off the corners. did you make the boxes to the correct qubic ft for the subs. are you using fake leather to cover the build as the fake stuff has alot more play than leather.

I used PVC once on my very first boot-build as it gives you alot more play and everyone though it was leather. Made cornders a doddle. Taking the whole thing apart and putting back together may seem a ball ache but it will be easier that way and give you a much better finish.
Just make sure you dont damage anything when you take it apart and re-assemble

looks good, but personally i think it might look better if the back wall was sloped and had the amp onthat instead of the shelf. ALSO its 1 less thing you have to worrie about trimming
Just a thought

Love the setup mate although the amp could do with a pillar behind it that is nailed to the fake floor and to a piece of MDF on top of the pillar that the amp then is attached to.
Very nice apart from that and the faux leather plans sound good
How do you access the spare tyre now btw
