3stud and 4stud?
which saxo models feature 3stud wheels?
im 17 and looking at purchasing my fist car in a couple of weeks, and am really into the idea of a saxo and want to get into the modding scene.
I am looking into a 1.1 model and am wanting my first mod to be a set of alloy wheels but am not keen on the idea of 3stud alloys as there is only a small selection ect.
I was wondering what saxo models featured 3stud alloys so that i can steer away?
thanks
Jamie

mine is 3 stud, its on an r plate, i think it is mark 2 saxos that are 4 stud, i'm going to upgrade all the 3 stud bits to 4 stud bits. Unless you know a lot about cars i would steer clear of the 3 stud whells as i have to replace the whole front leg and the hubs at the back, just so i can get the wheels i brought to fit. Or alternatively you could look for a stud conversion kit, a lot cheaper, but a lot harder to find.
Hope it helps

mk1 1.0 and 1.1's are 3 stud...mk1 1.4's and 1.6's are 4 stud.. then all of mk2's :O
could always covert your car to 4 stud..

also stud conversion kits suck.. your using 3 bolts still to hold another plate on plus a wheel.. which is using 4 bolts from the plate hence why they are hard to find :O unsafe

I have a 1.4 Westcoast MK 1 T Reg which is 4 stud.
It doesnt really matter though because according to the garages that i have been around lately saxo wheels are a pain in the ass to get hold of.
To cut a long story short i need some standard 14" wheels to fit on my front two and nobody at all where i am sells them. Something to do with the distance between the stud holes and the size of the round middle bit.
