Ive got a bit of rust here and ther, whats the best way to really clean up your engine?

if you have rust only way to get rid of it is to sand down and re paint

as said sand and then repaint mate, its the only way
some people use kurust or summit before painting so the rust doesnt eat any more metal

treat it before hand obviously  and if its bad as in has wholes.. use a filler and then anti rust primer..

as for treating kurust is the best around.. gell or liquid form.. very good stuff.. they also do the primer and halfrauds sell it

Wurth make a product called RustOff -> does exactly what it says on the tin - helps remove rust! makes it alot easier to clean up bfore repainting.

Rost Off Ice is what it's actually called
It smells like Evergreen and does a crap job to be fair, we've got a shi1tload of it at work. It gets delivered every month and it hardly gets used

what does everyone clean their actual engine with?? iv seen some pictures of your cars and under the bonnet looks sweet

degreaser diluted
and then spray with wd40

Oven degreaser?? lol
Heavy duty chemical degreasers are great
Citrus degreasers etc
Just left on for 5-10 minutes to work the magic and then wipe clean and then buff on some Meg's High Endurance Gloss or WD40
