Default Whats a good around digi cam??

Well yeah 3years ago my 5MP cam was desent now im starting to see its not top nuts ne more!

any idea on a good cam, night and day use mostly for the car and nights out with a few scene shots hehe

Just bought the Canon 400D with 18-55mm lens and its brilliant for all round photography, have a look around mind as SLR's aint too cheap.
