Post ECU Decoding

Dose anyone know how to decode a Saxo VTR MK1 ECU,
I got the engine with the loom and ECU from a local breakers but i did not get the black box with it or the key,
I have asked them a bit later, but they told me it is already gone,
I have OBD tools, but cant find anything on the net about it.
Any advice would be helpful
Thanks

I just sent my ECU off to Blackhawk electronics and they decoded it for me for £90 delivered, so it can be decoded off the car, so maybe the OBD port is not used to decode them.

But your method does make sense though, if you can read ECU errors through the OBD port, and erase them; then you should be able to do something with the immobiliser with the right tools.

Sorry if not a lot of help, just thought I'd put my bit down incase it helped you.
