Can anyone help?
Right first off i know its the wrong section but please dont move as i need help and for as many people as poss to see this.
As some of you know the big yourshire meet is on sun and one of my driveshafts has started knocking.
Now do i a) drive up with it knocking or is there a way to stop it temporarily or b) does anyone have 1 or 2 driveshafts for a vts (dont know if vtr ones will fit) in the midlands area as i will collect tomorrow.
This is what a forum comunity is all about helping one in need so please help guys

i woudnt drive it mate as the could snap and wreck all ur suspension and gearbox.

Could it not just be greased up its where the clip has broken on the cv boot and it has lost all its grease

Are you sure it's the driveshafts and not your lower drop links or steering rack ?
Steering racks seem to be a common problem on the mk1 106's !

if you can ring aid, he might be able to bring a driveshaft to the meet....
thats all i can think of at the moment

I think its the cv boots as the clips on both sides have snapped so the grease inside is spilling all over the brakes so must not have any left.

Just put grease in, and put some jubilee clips on them

If i cant get any tomorrow i will have to try that anything to get me to the meet and maybe get a pic in the mag lol
