Highly illegal no doubt, how do you know what size bulbs everything takes in the car?

i've just upgraded my headlights to osram nightbreaker. They're noticably brighter and whiter and are still road legal

I'd say H.I.D's if the police round your area arn't to rough, yes they are illegal if they are not fitted from factory due to the way they give the light out. If i remember right they need to give it out in a certain formation.
Mine arn't to bad as they point straight into the floor, so at a glance you would just think it's a normal car with HID's bar it being a saxo. I do know that Baz's point into the air and blind people though if i remember right lol, all depends on how much you want to spend. They do transform driving at night though, I could not go back to normal lights after using them thats for sure.

I have just changed my bulbs this weekend. Changed them to Ice Blue Xenon bulbs which are road legal. All standard fittings. Showed as follows:
Headlights: H4 Bulbs
Fog Lights: H1 Bulbs
Sidelights : 501 Bulbs
I bought them on eBay as a pack from a shop called Aceparts, all cost me around £18. Easy to fit as well.
