Should i get shortened shockers aswell as springs?
If i were to lower my car 50mm all round on vts alloys, will i get away with just buying springs for the front and having standard dampers or will i have to have shortened ones. Anyone had this decision before - what should i do? thanks

i'm down 60mm on front and 70mm on rear and i only have standard shocks/dampers, i think the ride is alright,
but most people on here will say buy shortened dampers

You can run them with the standard dampers, but they will wear out quicker and you would get a better ride with stiffened dampers.

Is there a big difference in ride comfort and can anything go wrong with having standard ones?

It's recommended that once you go 50mm or more you should change shocks. I got told that with my adjustable rear shocks, the rear of mine should really be lowered 60-70mm rather than the 40mm it is now.

its best to get matching shockers and springs mate. if you just have springs then the ride will be quite bouncey.
plus your handling will be alot better with the full kit.

Quick question, Shortened shocks will reduce the ride height compared to standard ones yeah?
