advice please

alright peeps im taking my mrs to look at a saxo vtr tonight i was just wondering if there are things to look out for on them as im not too clued up on them any advice would be much appreciated cheers!!!!

usually i would, and alot of other members will say do a search, as this topic has been covered loads....

just look all over the car really....make sure it starts nice....as to see reciepts etc of what the car has had done....

there will be better answers im sure form better knowledge-able members

as your name is gti im thinking you may possibly have a 106?

if so look for similiar problems on them as you must be more familiar.

Be weary of knocking noises, check when it was last serviced and how regular. Look at previous owners could show signs of an unreliable car if it keeps getting sold on. just general stuff really mate

id say he has a 206 GTi....which is 180bhp.... hence the name lol

basically go over the car really carefully look for any rust ... also when you test drive listen out for any knocking etc...
