Default lowering

I have a mk1 1.1, i want to know if it can be lowered 50mm as it is lowered 40mm atm and if possible i want to lower 50mm with uprated shocks, has anyone done this or know if it can be done.

Yeh it can be done but the arches need cutting, here have a look here http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...mmed+flat+arch do a search, u'll find more

atm i have the front of my car at 60mm and when i had 3 fat mates in the back must of droped to about 100mm on the rear had no rubbing plus i have 195/45/15 tyers only arch work i have done is grind the arch lip off and take the clips for the bump strip off
