All depends on the car!
100k of motorway miles can be better than 30k as a shopping trolley!!!

Well if i was going out to spend 2-4k on a saxo or a car then i wont it to have low mileage
If i was gonna spend about 1.5k on a car then i wudnt mind so much.......mileage to me sometimes dont matter aslong as its been looked after, in a way it shows its realiable that its still workin strong even if it got 140k on clock
Its getin quite hard to find cars will low mileage now, especially all them new rep mobiles (vectras etc)
cause i mean my car for instance 114k and it runs smooth just like my mk2 VTR, and most of it since ive had it is motorway miles which is alot better just like Quick said

Would depend on the age of the car first of all, the the manufacturer.... but as a rule I tend to look for cars easily under 80K

Agree with Chris tbh if it's a Jap car, it's going to live longer than you more than likely.

this is kind of freaky as i was just thinking about this as im looking at Focus's, i want a 1.8 Zetec, and a few have pretty high miles on them from 100k to 130k!
but can also b low for a much higher price... but i dont know if it would b ok to get a 100k one as they are much cheaper, and i will only b having it fir a year or so...

Indeed... although most fresh Jap Imports have very low mileage, cause the Japs don't drive anywhere... my 12 year old Jap car had about 48K on it.

You'll probably find that they are ex-company cars and so have been regularly serviced and normally by the main dealer.
