Default Saxo Front wiper problems

Hi there, just looking for a bit of help. Over the past couple of days a problem has developed with the front wipers on my Saxo. One minute the front wipers are working fine then they suddenley stop and won't start working again. When I come back to the car after a few hours they start working again?

I thought it might have been the fuse, but whilst the front wipers don't work the back wiper works fine, and this wouldn't be the case if it was the fuse, right???

Someone suggested to me that it could be the wiper switch/stalk, does that sound right?

Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Cheers

dodgy cables?<< in the stalk...(thing you like up and down to make the wipers work) take your steering wheel cowel off and check all your cables are okies.

cant honestly think of anything else unless your wiper motor is on its way out.

Right the motors themselves very rarely go wrong , replace the wiper relay and then the wiper stalk if it isnt the relay
