Default lowering torsion bar

tried to lower torsion bar the day. had the bolts and shit out just had to get the bar out. whats the best way to get the bar out. and what side do i hit it from

Hit it from opposite you would pull it out mate, make sure you dont mess up the splines so use something thats gunna fit flat on it, i used 3 long rachet extension bars put together with a 13mm socket on with the socket on the torsion bar so it was in the middle of the bar and hit it twice and the torsion bar flew out easy

Just make sure its well lubed up before you whack it so it slides out

see the side you take the washer out hit it from that side or the other side buddy.

you take washers out of both sides, there are 2 offcentered washers on each torsion bar so there are 4 in total for the 2 torsion bars. when lowerong the n/s traling arm hit the bar out from the o/s and vice versa. do a search been covered kkk times

Hah wait until you try and lower the drivers side, the one on the passenger of the drivers side torsion bar is the hardest lol.

Make sure you got a decent torx bit mate gus if there tight your gunna start rounding them off. I bought a titanium bit and worked a treat but before that i rounded off 2 bits and started to round the bolt off.

Great fun NOT!
